Gift cards

Here’s how it works:
1. **Gift card code**: After purchase, the customer gets a unique code via email. This code is what they will use to redeem the gift card on your site.
2. **Receipt**: The receipt they receive includes the gift card information, but it is not the gift card itself. The actual gift card is the **code** that was sent in the email.
3. **Order number**: The order number is separate from the gift card. It’s just for tracking the purchase in the Shopify store .
